May has been a month filled with makeup and Disney obsessions, becoming addicted to new TV shows and indulging in a lot of self care days. So, since the month is coming to an end faster than I woukd like it to…I thought I would make my monthly favourites post for you!
I still to this day do not understand why it’s not socially acceptable to wear pyjamas in public! They’re comfortable and most are damn well cute, what’s the point really if no one can see and you can’t gloat about adorable pyjamas!? I’ll admit, at 26 years old I’m still a huge fan of Disney. Recently Primark has been killing it with the Disney merchandise and when I saw this see a wet of Villains Pyjamas I couldn’t resist at all.
We’ve seen online many products claiming to give the perfect cat eye, eyeliner flick or what have you. Truthfully they’reall over priced for me, especially since perfecting a makeup look is in my opinion done with practice and not by using stickitape and stencils. However I couldn’t resist trying this product when a friend suggested it to me. Safe to suggested a I love it. The tip and edges allow you to draw whatever shape you want but the sides are like a stamp that gives you a wonderful flick! Saves so much time getting ready, trust me.
Starring Ricky Whittle, Emily Browning, Ian McShane and Pablo Schreiber, (pornstache in OITNB) American Gods is an American television series based on the novel of the same name, written by Neil Gaiman. It is amazing so far, true to the book yet compelling in it’s differences and interpretation. It’s gotten me through some rough panicking moments, having something to watch to distract me is always a go to technique. Here’s a quick blurb about the show for you, see if your interested;
Ex-convict Shadow Moon roams a world he doesn’t understand, left adrift by the recent, tragic death of his wife. Little does he know his life is about to change after he meets a crafty, charismatic con man named Mr. Wednesday, who offers Shadow a job as his bodyguard. As their journey begins, Shadow encounters a hidden America where magic is real and fear grows over the ascending power of New Gods like Technology and Media. In a grand plan to combat the threat, Mr. Wednesday attempts to unite the Old Gods to defend their existence and rebuild the influence that they’ve lost.
With my skin always producing more oil that a frying pan, let alone a face needs I’m constantly in search of good exfoliants that clean my skin but doesn’t end up inducing am over production of oil afterwards. LUSH comes to my rescue once more with the rather coarse but good scrub! Smells lovely also.
And that concludes this monthly favourites post, if you try any of the things I’ve written about then let me know in the comments. Until my next post, see you all online. Charlotte x
